Electronic signatures in human resources – which processes can be signed and how in 2024/25

On 18 October, the Federal Council approved the Bureaucracy Relief Act IV (BEG IV), which will open up new opportunities for digitalization in HR from January 2025 at the latest. Habib Bejaoui and Jörg Lenz from Namirial, together with employment law expert Dr. Alexander Bissels, will provide comprehensive insights into the most important aspects and show how HR processes can be implemented more efficiently, cost-effectively and in compliance with the law.  

Among other things, the three will provide information on: 

  • which documents can now be handled in text form,  
  • where there are still exceptions and what you need to pay attention to,  
  • why conventional means of communication such as email, SMS or WhatsApp are not the best option in many cases,  
  • which processes still require an electronic form with a qualified electronic signature (QES).
